How to use Datashop
Step 1
Select PRODUCT
Start from the homepage, where you can browse a range of data products tailored to different reporting needs. Select your preferred product to continue. Please note that all DataShop data is for internal company use only. For resale or publication enquiries, please contact us.
Step 2
Select Vehicle Type
Choose the required vehicle type for your report. If you need multiple vehicle types, add each one to your basket separately to ensure your data is tailored correctly.
Step 3
Select Vehicle details
Specify the scope of your report by selecting manufacturers, model ranges, and variants, or choose all makes and models for a broader view. Further refine your results by adding additional data fields, using the question mark icons for guidance, and applying filters such as body style.
Step 4
Time Period
Choose the required reporting period. New registration data is available from 2021 onwards, with options to view reports by year, quarter, or month. If you select the current year, a subscription is required to access the full dataset. Without a subscription, only data released to date will be included.
Step 5
Regional Analysis
Select the geographical level for your analysis of first registered keeper data. Options range from UK-wide coverage to more detailed breakdowns, including country, area, county, local authority, postcode district, or sector.
Step 6
Review and Finalise
Once all selections have been made, review your report summary and add the report to your shopping cart. You may repeat the process to compile multiple reports as needed.
